Terms of Service
Last updated: June 13, 2026
These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of Recoup, available at recoupinvoice.com (the “Service”), operated by Shashwat Aditya, sole proprietor, India (“we”, “us”). By creating an account or using the Service you agree to these Terms.
1. What Recoup does
Recoup sends follow-up communications about your overdue invoices to your clients, in your name and with your approval, and helps you track what is owed to you. Recoup is a software tool. It is not a debt collection agency, a law firm, or a provider of legal or financial advice, and it does not purchase, hold, or guarantee recovery of any debt.
2. Your account and responsibilities
- You must provide accurate information and keep your account credentials secure.
- You confirm that the invoices you connect are genuine, that the amounts are owed to you, and that you have the right to contact the clients concerned.
- You are responsible for the content of messages sent on your behalf. You can preview and control tone settings at any time, and pause outreach to any client with one click.
- You may not use the Service to harass, threaten, or mislead anyone, to pursue disputed or fraudulent debts, or to violate any applicable law.
3. Payments and billing
Paid features are billed through Dodo Payments, our merchant of record. Your clients’ payments to you are made through your own payment links and accounts and never pass through us. Pricing is described on our website; the Overdue Invoice Audit and your first invoice chase are free, and paid subscription plans renew until cancelled. Refunds are handled per our Refund Policy.
4. Service availability
The Service is provided “as is” and “as available”. We work hard to keep it reliable, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted availability, nor do we guarantee that any invoice will be recovered.
5. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability arising out of or relating to the Service is limited to the amounts you paid us in the twelve months preceding the claim. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, including lost profits or loss of business relationships.
6. Termination
You may stop using the Service and close your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.
7. Changes
We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be notified by email or on this page; continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
8. Governing law and contact
These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Questions go to [email protected].
